pate

Okay so either you readers don't speak french, or you haven't the time to tell me I am wrong!   Wouldn't you know it, last night our french teacher tells us the difference between pate and pate.   Pate does refer to pasta, but pate with an accent over the 'e' refers to fois gras, or pate as you know it.  So we didn't get it wrong after all.   The proverbial egg is on my face - such is the joy of learning a language!
